Kiel lingvo vivas ?
La lingvo vivas ne nur por paco kaj amikeco. Ĝi vivas ĉar ĝi povas uzi en tutaj kampoj. Do, tiu problemo estis diskuti en la UK 97a en hanojo, ĉu ne ?

In fact, this has been mentioned in many posts and forums. However, I still see many groups in Facebook with a single word Esperanto. I did argue with few in the past and I have silent myself on that topic.
A language survives and spread wide and fast because it can be used in all sectors. Certainly, Esperanto is but if you search the Facebook, you could hardly fine History, Medicine etc which are not too common in our life though we are using it daily.
Take a search at the vikipedio, how many articles on Geography you can find. Until now, you should know that I am into Geography more than language. Yes, geography uses language too. However, to attract more learners, Esperanto needs to be broad and wide in content.
Frankly, I am bored with all the days and nights of peace and friendship. I am an avid geography lover and I have nothing much to read. How long you think I can survive in the Esperantujo ? The National Geographic monthly is my first love but it has no Esperanto version and the Esperantujo cannot produce one Geography magazine.
It is time for the Esperanto associations in the world to consider to do one part of it in order to sustain the interests of the users of Esperanto, especially the new comers to the land of Esperanto.
I am getting bored now. Mi sentas enuigi nun.
The Esperantujo has more than 2 million users and one day one dollar, it can be 2 million dollars and how these money can be used to channel into all fields, include medical researches.
Once a year, to raise 2 million dollars for the Esperantujo, will it be too hard ?
