What is she doing in Thailand ?
This is of
course coupled up with the Vietnam war, during the war, USA made Khon
Khean the air base to drop bombs into the Vietnam. The American
soldiers of course, who had no tomorrow would lavish the locals with
tons of Thai bahts, after all, just a few American dollars are
sufficient to make the local believed that America is a good country
and these America soldiers were good and kind.
I do not understand, despite following
her post in the Language on the Move for quite sometime, that this
Japanese lady is so keen to make English as a major language in
Thailand.
If she loves English so much, why not
she push English to be the compulsory language to help the Japanese
speak better English.
The lady not only decides the fate of Thailand but also the big regional ASEAN. But does she know that Indonesia has the largest population in ASEAN and many of the Indonesians speak no good of English.
She works with the elite school and of
course rich people university. I do not know how good her English is
as I could find the Youtube for a look whether she speaks like the
Queen or with the strong Japanese accent.
I would like to tell the Thai people,
English would only ruin your life instead of helping you.
With more than 10% illiteracy rate in
Thailand, this lady should consider to make Esperanto as the language
for the poor people to have a means to communicate with the world.
The illiteracy can be erased in 200 hours of learning Esperanto.
Certainly, she is not the only one.
There are many Filipinos, next come the Americans and British trying
to find jobs in Thailand. If you look at this website, you can see,
the jobs are totally taken up by these so called native speakers but
with low standard.
As we are in the ASEAN, my Thai
friends, you have to realise how to save your country from being
colonised by the West when the world is defending the colonisation of
English language, you are falling into the trap. Learning language
requires 3200 hours but learning Esperanto needs only 200 hours. Let
the rich take the private tuition outside the schools as these people
are rich.
Let us in ASEAN united by a common
language, Esperanto, which is recommended by UNESCO since 1954.
Take a look, how the English language speaker would shame the Thai PM on youtube. You want to be suffered the similar fate, aren't you ?

Why doesn't she go back to Japan and makes these Japanese better English language speakers instead going to Thailand to earn more Thai bahts.
