Nas only lied to learn Esperanto
Who in the world does not like money ?
It must be the insane person.
The other group is Esperanto speakers.
Why Esperanto speakers do not need money ? It is because they use Esperanto as a toy to play around for fun. UNESCO and UNWTO should feel ashamed of having these kinds of Esperantistoj.
I have no right to criticise Nas as he needs money to feed the team of workers called Nas one minute. Bread and butter is important. However, he did make a one minute film about Esperanto and as usual, like others, promise to learn Esperanto.
Of course, he knows very well, he could not use Esperanto to earn a cent or a dollar by using Esperanto. Therefore, he studies in a famous university and making advertisement for the University of the People. I did not know how much UOP paid him. It should not be free of charge as UOP can afford to advertise in Facebook and YouTube, both are American companies.
The smart Nas of course does not stay there. He created an academy for filming etc. It would bring him some money and his team is growing bigger in the future. I am very sure that UOP would use his information as part of the course in UOP.

The president of UOP is Shai Reshef. His Wikipedia information did not mention about his ethnicity. But UOP staff, are 23 of them, will keep changing of course but my blog post will stay as today. 25.04.2021, are operating from Israel but not in the United States of America (USA). Of course, it is an online university, the office of administration can move around anywhere in the world.
Looking at the Esperantujo, you see nothing from the Esperantistoj, who are busy whole day long planning for the useless kongresoj. They only know kongresoj. Others like, why Esperanto is being ignored by NGOs for not respecting the 1985 resolution to use Esperanto.
Of course, in Nas one minute talk, he mentioned nothing about both international bodies, UNESCO and UNWTO resolutions and declaration.
I am just waiting for Nas to fulfill his promise in the one minute, that he would learn Esperanto, his final conlang, but he did not know all languages are made, all are conlangs. It is not only Esperanto. Nas knows Chinese language, he should know that Chinese language is also made by symbols of sun, moon etc.
