How united are Esperantists ?

I was with the Ci Ji （慈济）） buddhist for a morning tea. We talked about the nature disastrous and moved into the Da Ai TV 大爱电视。

This prompted me to think a question of how united the Esperantists are.

Many economists are puzzled how Ci Ji can build a university and a hospital. A religious body can have the wealth to have the satellite TV beaming across the Atlantic from Taiwan.

As the web statistics shows that there are more than two million Esperantists. Is this amount include non income group like the babies and school going children ?

Well, if I take one million Esperantists who have the income on the daily basis, there would be one million dollars if they can donate it to a fund which would look into the welfare of the Esperanto development. One million dollars a day. How much would it be a month ? You can use the fingers plus the toes to count it.

That is the problem of the Esperanto Associations. We could see many self funded Esperantists to do pod-casting and online radio. But how long can this be ? The resources are limited when we are not united.

It is a pressure for the Esperantists or perhaps a tall order. If it is, join hand with Ci Ji, I believe they are willing to help and also they can form a Ci Ji Esperanto League like other religion
