You mentioned that learning a language is to know culture. I wonder you learn Chinese first before you get to study the China geography.

Language is a tool for communication, post years, decades and centuries, it becomes a culture of some communities. For example, do you learn Cantonese, Guang Dong Hua to know better of Guang Dong province?

Besides, if you have notice that sign language is recognised in many international events, perhaps, you have notice it daily major news reports on TV also provide sign language translation. Does sign language have culture ? How would the sign language culture look like ?

Perhaps, blind language, Braille would consider to have literature to talk about, it is a form of writing language and the sign language is a form of symbols, just as any written language in the world, like English, Chinese, Thai, the form of symbols are able to draw on the papers, walls, cars etc.





Those who argue about the language and culture should seriously make a research in your work before churning out tons of invalid data in this Internet age.

I do not learn Japanese but I know Japanese culture much. Thanks to the language I know of English and Chinese.





Here you can see the combination of both languages, Chinese and English. If the Esperantists are not so crazy about yearly universal congress, pulling the resources together, I think there would be a lot of information, translation about a culture or cultures. Even a university can be built. In fact there was one which is called AIS.
