The UEA should work towards to remind the leaders of the other associations to respect the resolution.

Of course, there are many weaknesses in the Esperantujo. I have to admit it.



You are very right, impracticality is the main cause of Esperanto for not able to be the international language as what UNESCO and UNWTO wished.

The new generation of Esperanto speakers, especially after the 80s are not as active as the esperantists in the past who involved in all sectors, include the politics, that is the reason why UNESCO and UNWTO were able to get the resolutions passed.

The current esperantists are mainly the language lovers,thus, they could not do much beside learning more languages which they like.

The old concept of the Esperantists are still spreading  in the Internet age. This is the reason why I launched the boycotting universal congress. It is going to be for a long time to wake the Esperantists up, but I shall work towards it.

If the senior esperantists could live in the Internet age, they can do more about it. Most of the associations of Esperanto are controlled by these out-dated thinking people. They dare not change as this will draw the criticism from the old school of thought.

Well, if more esperantists are reading my post here, I wish they could wake up and think how to revive their interest groups, like Esperanto scout, HAM radio, The Railway group. It is sad to say that, these groups are interested to be in the UKo instead of doing their own meeting.

The other bad aspect of the Esperantujo is that they like very much of the word, International, World in the name of the assocition. Can they just be realistic and use the more meaningful of the title of the association or the name of event.

Patrica RYAN did a good job in this aspect to remind the people do not insist in English.

However, this would not help much in promoting Esperanto.

It is boiled down to the fact that CHANGE is vital. The TEJO has to brave to change thus to lead the other associations to be more active in the world events.Of course, the local events are vital too.
