Do not overlook the small pieces!
The issue of whether to advertise or not to advertise, as i have said in earlier post. I heard that the UEA is just controlled by someone and the current President is just the puppet of those who are thirst for power.
Now, look, the culture of the globe is different from one corner to the others. What it can be done in the West may not be able to function well in the East.
Time and again, I invited the Esperantists to consider to help the ASEAN to established Esperanto center but to no avail.
Take for example, the Dong Jiao Zong in Malaysia is an organisation which is promoting and protecting the mother tongue education. Isn't Esperanto is the aim of protecting the mother tongue?
There should be some help to this voluntary organisation to set up the testing subject of Esperanto as this organisation is also an examination body.
If we can start from a small organisation and this would slowly expanding to other organisations to take part especially the East Malaysia, which has lots of Indigenous people and their mother tongues are losing fast.
Knocking on the doors of those super power countries like Britain, France, German etc, is harder than knocking on the door of this organisation.
Don't forget that, it is the smaller ones which can grow into the bigger ones.
With the ASEAN in Esperanto, I do not think European countries would not change to use Esperanto. If they want to trade better.
Now, ASEAN has the 10+3, which include China, Japan and Korea as membership, these 3 countries are the strong supporters of Esperanto and they would certainly supporting the use of Esperanto in ASEAN too.

Europe will win ? I don't know. Despite Esperanto is borne in Europe, it is a world matter and it needs support from the world.
Well, the Asia Esperanto Movement is also in the hands of those old timers, who has many jobs in hands, some are professors in the universities and how they can have more time to plan the activities ?
