Response to YouTube video titled : The Universal Language - Why Did It Fail? Part 1

I prefered to respond to your video here instead of posting it in your YouTube page.

The very reason is many people are having too much time and would respond to my comment there for fun. Of course, your video is not lonely, it attracted more than 1500 comments.

Some people accused the Esperantist, in the comment, to flag down your video. It might be and it might be not as my experience there are people just go negative all the days. But very certain, I did not flag your video. You are entitled to voice your opinions about Esperanto and some of them, I am agreed too.

1. Esperanto has no culture.

Since you are American and I choose the Merriam Webster dictionary definition of the word CULTURE in English. Of course, the world culture has more than one meaning.

Another site

The simple definition of culture.

By these 3 sites, I wished that you have grasp the word culture thoroughly well instead of using it as instinct.

I know this video will be viewed by many more viewers or they repeatedly watch it and new comments will be still coming in despite it was uploaded in 2016 and now is 2018.

2. Native speakers.

As a second language recommended by UNESCO and UNWTO, just wonder anyone left comment there to tell you about the world organisations recommendation and resolutions, Esperanto does not need native speakers. As thousand of years, when the human created the language, it has not native speakers too. As you also noticed that, Esperanto native speakers are a small number it is theri choice to choose Esperanto as the mother tongue. In fact, the second language for communication, it does not require native speakers. It is because since thousands of years, most languages you know of have the native speakers, this made you think of all languages should have native speakers. If you know Chinese language, Pu Tong Hua,普通话, it is also a man-made language, combinding various dialects together, especially from the northern parts of China. It is less than 150 years since its inception. Unfortunately, wikipedia does not have the English version of the history of Pu Tong Hua.

If you only know one language, that is English, perhaps, I would like to advise you to learn a few languages more, especially Chinese language which evolved from pictures.

As the article is getting long now. I would end here and go to the Part 2.
