Comment : Bungee instructor's 'poor English' led Dutch girl to jump without rope

It is very unfair but no one in Europe is helping him.

UNWTO passed a declaration in 1980, called Manila Declaration but no tourism companies as well as the governments respect the declaration to use Esperanto.

I wished the tourism companies in the world should realise that you are facing the court rule if you still want to use English.

According to BBC report, more than 75% of the people in the world do not speak a word of English. Of course, those rich people, of course not all can command good English.

The director of the company will now face prosecution for homicide through negligence, after appealing a court ruling last year. The appeal had argued that the teenager had jumped before she was told to.

But the appeal judge said the instructor's level of English was not sufficient to be guiding foreigners in "something as delicate as jumping into the void from an elevated point".

Now, if you are working in tourism industry, you want to face the court suit or you want to campaign to tell your ministry of tourism to use Esperanto.

Of course the tourists as well, you are not safe either when you go travelling. Your English may be excellent like the queen English but others may not be as that.

Learning Esperanto is easy. By 12 day course, you are able to communicate with the people in the world. With a little more practice , you are able to communicate well.

Now, you see, if your company would not help you to defence for the legal action, you would be put in the jail.

Don't blame the Spanish instructor, he has no right to speak English. English is not his national language. Why should he use English?

Isn't all the tourists who visit the country should speak the local languages or the national language of the countries ?

Now make petition to get all the NGOs to use Esperanto to respect the  UNESCO resolution 1985.

Want to save more lives, include yours ? Send the petition to all the organisations in the world.
