Comment: SHOULD ESPERANTO BECOME AN OFFICIAL LANGUAGE OF THE EU?

I am very annoyed with that so called polyglot, Conor Clyne.



He thinks everyone on earth is a language lover and at the same time, a polyglot. How to define a polyglot, I do not know. I speak 9 languages, am I a polyglot? But I speak the languages for the need of daily work. Not to show off in the polyglot conference. I also do not learn any other European languages beside English which is forced by the government.

French, Spanish, German languages maybe have large amount speakers in the world but to my daily work, I do not need them at all. Thus, I speak non of them.

I did write a post of this man, you can search his name. But this time is to talk again, a non linguist talks about language, a conglang, constructed language.

Even the linguists are not able to tell me which language is not constructed ?As a human being, if you agreed with the Darwin theory, therefore, there is no languages, especially written language on earth.

Esperanto is a constructed language. What about French ?

I am for Esperanto because Esperanto is the best tool to eradicate the world illiteracy. The easy learning language can eradicate the world illiteracy within months if all governments and NGOs respect the UNESCO resolutions to teach Esperanto and use Esperanto in the international events.

I do not know how effective this piece of work about Esperanto in EU. It looks like the EU is also not considering to accept the votes on the page.

Every school teaches Esperanto in the country, this can save millions of dollars in the foreign language learning. The most important thing is not only the economy but it is the torture of learning languages which need years.

Not all the people in the world are language lovers.

Can the government officials feel that way, many government officials are using the tax payers' money to employ translators. Why can't they use Esperanto without translators.

Of course, Esperanto can be adopted into many schools in the world if Esperanto speakers are not crazy for useless universal congress which is held each year. If they can come forward, invest in the making of online Esperanto university, there would millions of esperanto learners each year. At least in my country, which is still very strong in English, I can recruit at least one thousand students a year.



There are millions of pupils in my country who cannot pass the English examination and are barred from going to university despite they are very talented , English language does not equate to intelligence. A good example is Singapore, which uses English as the working language, and the talented ones are killed by English language, and the country needs to recruit foreign experts to work in the Lion City.

More than 75% of the people in the world do not speak a word of English, reported by BBC poses no effect to many people in the world.

This why I always call for the setting up of Esperanto University. But the esperanto speakers are too stagnant in thinking, that is why Esperanto is still be mocked by many people, one of them is Conor.

If the Esperanto speakers could stop supporting UKo and do more other professional congress and simposium in Esperanto or in bi-lingual, Esperanto will soon be the world major language. Those who mock Esperanto might have to use Esperanto too.
