Indonesia made the right choice in implementing Bahasa Indonesia
The title of the article is very unfair to Indonesians.
Each country has the right to implement the language policy,why Wall Street Journal did not ask the similar question to the American government as: Why not teach foreign languages in the schools?
Indonesia Looks to Erect Language Barrier
Erecting the language barriers are started by the colonial, not Indonesia.
Why should everyone in the world learn English ?
It would benefit more to Indonesia or America and the English speaking countries Britain, Australia and New Zealand to name a few.
