Oomoto vs Esperanto research in propaedeutic effects
I was madly searching for research in Asia about the propaedeutic effect that Esperanto language provides. Most of the data now available are from the European countries or English speaking countries like Australia and New Zealand.
What about the data from Asia like Japan, which has large about of Esperanto speakers and also the followers of Oomoto religion which uses Esperanto for their religious purposes.
I am currently doing the research on the time consuming for the local pupils. The reason for not doing the propaedeutic effect is the local people are exposed too early to the foreign languages, especially the English.
Now, my question is why there is no such research in Japan ? If they can provide the same good result, this might be able to convince the Education Minister in Japan and other Asian countries to consider providing Esperanto as a spring board like the British.
The children of Oomoto followers, presumably Esperanto is the second language to them since they have contact Esperanto since birth at home. Therefore, the result of learning English in school should prove better from non Oomoto children. The data is so easily collected but alas, no such results are available on the net.
If you know some of the Asia research, please leave me a message. Thanks in advanced.
