If you want to shame yourself like the president of France

That is the reason how one is in a bad position when one is not the native speaker of English.

How good is the English language command of  Mr Macro, I do not know. However, he is the odd one that speaks English with the world leaders but not in the EU meetings.

Now, this the joke of the year and of course the joke for the rest of the life. Certainly, it is in the history book of linguistic.

This is the karma from the French president, who blocked Esperanto to be one of the official languages in League of Nations in 1922.

If you do not want yourself to be ashamed of in the international events because of your limited vocabulary, learn Esperanto and push Esperanto as the second language in your country. You can learn Esperanto online or even mobile phone, search at Google play store, Learn Esperanto in 12 days. The web version has more languages to choose from https://learn.esperanto.com
Others said the French president, who prides himself on speaking fluent – though not flawless – English, might have fallen foul of a faux ami, the French term for a word that sounds similar in another language but carries a different meaning.
The French word délicieux, while often employed for the taste of food, would be better translated as “lovely” or “delightful” when used to describe a person.
