Comment : Bahasa Indonesia Proficiency: Shall it be Compulsory for Foreign Workers?

Language problem is always the biggest hinder to the communication.

It is good for the ASEAN Community to use Esperanto as the common language and this would solve all the problem.

Low cost of learning an international language and there will be no confusion in expression.

My comment is on the page is here. However, I doubt the editor would allow the comment to be appeared when the Esperanto is touched.

You can read it there, from the link if the comment is accepted. Of course, a thank you to the editor for the freedom of speech.

It is certainly the linguistic problem for the international exchange when one travels from one part of the world to the other parts of the world. I faced lots of difficulties when I was working abroad. I could feel the stressed even until today.
If we can use Esperanto as the communal language in ASEAN, the UNESCO and UNWTO recommended international language, this will solve the linguistic problem.
Esperanto is easy to learn. It only needs about 50 hours to finish the elementary level, now there is the a 12 days course available online and app. Of course, one can find many people in Facebook are using Esperanto. Now Duolingo has more than a million people are learning Esperanto.
Of course, if one is going to stay long in one country, s/he should learn the local languages, especially like Indonesia, which has the most linguistic diversity and full of cultures from about 900 tribals.
UNESCO has long forseen the language problem, thus recommended Esperanto to all countries since 1954 and again 1985 to all NGOs to use Esperanto. The 1985 resolution is available for download from the UNESCO official website. Just search Esperanto and you get it.
