Esperanto University in Malaysia

Of late, many chats with friends, especially the Esperanto speakers.

Certainly, my complaints will not end until I see or hear that there is a college or university is using Esperanto as the medium of instruction.

For those who have friends or relatives who study overseas in Europe or USA etc would know that the graduates when they return to Malaysia, they will use the local language in the office. Afterall, this is the place where they have grown up. Therefore, the worries of the use of Esperanto will hamper the future will not be found to be true. Again, Malaysia is a multiracial and multilingual country. It is when you reach the soil of this tropical land, you will feel the different from the monolingual scene in your country. But I don't think the bilingual in Europe is rare too.

Malaysia has many private universities which are twining with foreign colleges and universities. They are using English as a medium of instruction. But, some of the local private universities are also using English as a medium of instruction.

The UEA can twin with the local colleges to conduct the Diploma level in Management, Computer, Administration of which they are currently already conducting with other foreign universities. Besides, the UEA can also work with some of the art colleges to conduct in Drama, Art and Music as well.

Many don't know that despite the national language is Malay, but the students must pass English with the MUET before they can graduate. Look, many talents are being killed if the UEA does not like to take active role in providing education. Besides, UEA can gain some fund from doing so. Why UEA is still waiting for the donations?

I have not able to communicate with fluent Esperanto but I believe many Esperantists are bilingual who can translate this piece of article to Esperanto. Though I have attached google translator, my poor English might not be able to be translated into your native tongue.

I wish I would not hear from my friends again that UEA is a beggar or Esperanto Associations are beggars that they are waiting for donations but not thinking to gain some fund with the education, which is not only help to salvage some talents but also strengthen the financial position.

Yes, Malaysia has been looking to be the center for education in Asia with partnership with other education institutions. If UEA cannot do it, what about San Marino? Why not share the burdern out ?

Time is running short, more and more talents are being killed in this region. It is only for the middle class and above to control the economy but not those from the lower class, with talents but no money to for English language tuition.

If the two above organisations cannot do it, what about other Esperanto Associations ?

Contact me if you need more information. Sorry, I may not be able to reply in Esperanto, however, I shall try.

The community colleges which have few languages

The art colleges

If Esperanto is to be proven in using for all fields, this is the best place to show case the world. UEA or other Esperanto Associations can work with the colleges and universities at the beginning stage if they are not familiar with the system.
